Hence, before you start to play, spend a few minutes learning about several high-ranking poker hands. Then you can take your Mr Play casino welcome bonus and try your hand at the game with Popular Poker Hands.

  1. Royal Flush- Popular Poker Hands

Every poker player dreams about getting Royal Flush – the highest ranked hand in the game Online Cricket Betting ID
that guarantees the win and beats all the other hands in the poker. It contains five cards – Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten. The tricky part here is that all cards should belong to the same suit; otherwise, it cannot be called Royal Flush. There are four different combinations possible:

  • Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten – all hearts
  • Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten – all diamonds
  • Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten – all clubs
  • Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten – all spades

Unfortunately, the odds of getting the hand is extremely low – 0.000154 %. But once you hit it, the win is guaranteed, and you can bet all your money.

2. Straight Flush

Just like the Royal Flush hand, Straight Flush is also a combination of five cards. However, to hit the hand the cards should belong to the suite, and the combination should be in order. Random card combinations cannot make Straight Flush.

Compared to Royal Flush, the number of possible combinations in Straight Flush is ten times more, making them 40 combinations in total. Here are a few possible combinations:

  • Queen, Jack, Ten, Nine, Eight
  • Seven, Six, Five, Four, Tree
  • Two, Three, Four, Five, Six
  • Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven, Six

The suit of cards doesn’t influence their value or strength. The ranking of the combination is decided by the ranks of the cards in the combination. For example, if you and your opponent have got Straight Flush hands but your opponent’s highest card is Jack, and yours is King, you win because King is higher than Jack.

In this online casino game, the chances of hitting Straight Flush are still low – 0.00139%. Since it’s the second most powerful hand in poker, Straight Flush beats all the other hands and loses to Royal Flush only.

3. Four of a Kind

Four of a Kind is the third highest-ranking poker hand. Though it consists of five cards, only four matter; the fifth one is entirely irrelevant.

To hit the Four of a Kind hand, the combination should consist of four cards belonging to the same rank. The strongest hand is the “Ace, Ace, Ace, Ace, x” combination where “x stands for any card, doesn’t matter which one. It beats all the other combinations possible. Here are a few examples:

  • Queen, Queen, Queen, Queen, Two
  • Nine, Nine, Nine, Nine, Ace
  • Ten, Ten, Ten Ten, King
  • Eight, Eight, Eight, Eight, Two

If two opponents in a play hit Four of a Kind hands, the one who holds higher quads wins the game. However, any Four of a Kind hand loses to Royal Flush and Straight Flush hands.

The possibility of hitting a Four of a Kind hand is 0.024%. Though it’s not powerful enough to beat Royal Flush or Straight Flush, it still beats Full House and the other low-ranked hands.

4. Full House

This hand consists of three cards belonging to one rank and two cards belonging to another rank. For example, the “Queen, Queen, Queen, Jack, Jack,” combination is a classic Full House hand. Here are a few other examples:

  • Jack, Jack, Jack, Ace, Ace
  • Nine, Nine, Nine, King, King
  • Six, Six, Six, Two, Two
  • Three, Three, Three, Seven, Seven
  • Two, Two, Two, Queen, Queen

However, the most powerful Full House hand is “Ace, Ace, Ace, King, King” also known as “Aces Full of Kings.” If two opponents hit Full House hands, the winner is decided based on the rank of the trips. For example, the “King, King, King, Eight, Eight” hand beats “Queen, Queen, Queen, Ten, Ten” because the rank of King is higher than Queen.

However, if you and your opponent have the same trips, let’s say, “King, King, King,” the rank of cards in the Pair will decide who the winner is. For example, the holder of the “King, King, King, Nine, Nine” combination beats the holder of the “King, King, King, Eight, Eight” hand.

5. Flush- Popular Poker Hands

In a gambling game like poker, the Flush hand is a combination of five non-consecutive cards. The only condition is that all cards should belong to the same suite. Check out the following example:

  • Ace, Queen, Nine, Five, Three – all hearts
  • Queen, Ten, Seve, Four, Two – all diamonds
  • Jack, Nine, Six, Three, Two – all spades
  • Eight, Seven, Five, Three, Two – all clubs

If two players get Flush hands, the winner is decided based on who holds the highest card. For example, “Ace, Jack, Nine, Seven, Two” is a better hand than “King, Queen, Jack, Eight, Seven” because Ace has a higher rank than King.

But if both hands have the highest card, then the second highest-ranked cards decide who the winner is. According to this rule, the “King, Queen, Jack, Eight, Seven” is a better combination than “King, Jack, Ten, Eight, Seven” since the Queen has a higher rank than Jack.

6. Straight- Popular Poker Hands

Among all casino games, poker is the one that has a simple yet winning hand called Straight. It’s a combination of five cards in a row regardless of their suite.

  • Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten – the best Straight hand (Broadway)
  • Jack, Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven – medium-strength hand
  • Ace, Two, Three, Four, Five – the weakest hand (Wheel)
  • Eight, Seven, Six, Five, Four
  • King, Queen, Jack, Ten, Nine

Like in the case of all previous hands, the winner is decided based on the highest-ranking card. If the first highest handing cards of two players are identical, then the second-highest cards are compared to decide the winner. If the players have completely identical cards, then they are equally winners, and the pots should be divided between them. None of them receives any other bonuses or privileges over the other one.

Now, when you’re familiar with the six most powerful poker hands, it’s time to start playing confidently and betting big amounts of money.
